Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

دَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَرَأَ لَهُمْ «إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ فِيهَا، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِيهَا»

Urdu Translation

  اسود بن سفیان کے آزاد کردہ غلام عبداللہ بن یزید نے ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمن سے روایت کی کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے ان کے سامنے سورۃ ( اذاالسمآ ء النشقت ) پڑھی اور ا س میں سجدہ کیا ، پھر جب سلام پھیرا تو انھیں بتایا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس سورت میں سجدہ کیا تھا ۔

English Translation

Abu Salama b. 'Abual-Rahman reported: Abu Huraira recited before them: hen the heaven burst asunder (al-Qur'an, lxxxiv. 1) and performed prostration. After completing (the prayer) he informed them that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) has prostrated himself at it (this verse).
