حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ: بَعَثَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَاةٍ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَبَعَثْتُ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ مِنْهَا بِشَيْءٍ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ قَالَ: «هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ؟» قَالَتْ: لَا، إِلَّا أَنَّ نُسَيْبَةَ، بَعَثَتْ إِلَيْنَا مِنَ الشَّاةِ الَّتِي بَعَثْتُمْ بِهَا إِلَيْهَا قَالَ: «إِنَّهَا قَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا»

Urdu Translation

  حضرت ام عطیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے صدقے کی ایک بکری بھیجی میں نے اس میں سے کچھ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی طرف بھیج دیا ۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے ہاں تشریف لا ئے تو آپ نے پو چھا : " کیا آپ کے پاس ( کھا نے کے لیے ) کچھ ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : نہیں البتہ نسيبة ( ام عطیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے اس ( صدقے کی ) بکری میں سے کچھ حصہ بھیجا ہے جو آپ نے ان کے ہاں بھیجی تھی آپ نے فر ما یا : " وہ اپنی جگہ پہنچ چکی ہے ۔

English Translation

Umm 'Atiyya, said: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) sent me some mutton of sadaqa. I sent a piece out of that to 'A'isha. When the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) came to 'A'isha, he said: Have you anything with you (to eat)? She said: Nothing, except only that mutton sent to us by Nusaiba (the kunya of Umm 'Atiyya) which you had sent to her. Whereupon he said: It has reached its proper place.
