حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ: أَسَمِعْتَ أَبَاكَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ» فَسَكَتَ سَاعَةً، ثُمَّ قَالَ: نَعَمْ

Urdu Translation

  علی بن حجر ، ابن ابی عمر ، حضرت سفیان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن قاسم سے پوچھا کہ کیا تم نے اپنے باپ کو عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزہ کی حالت میں ان کا بوسہ لے لیا کرتے تھے؟حضرت عبدالرحمٰن تھوڑی دیر خاموش رہے پھر فرمایا ہاں ۔

English Translation

Sufyan reported: I said to 'Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim: Have you heard from your father narrating from 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) that he kissed her while observing fast? He ('Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim) kept silence for a short while and then said: Yes.
