Baab Emaan Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِحَدِيدَةٍ فَحَدِيدَتُهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَوَجَّأُ بِهَا فِي بَطْنِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا، وَمَنْ شَرِبَ سُمًّا فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَهُوَ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا، وَمَنْ تَرَدَّى مِنْ جَبَلٍ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَهُوَ يَتَرَدَّى فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا»

Urdu Translation

  وکیع نے اعمش سے ، انہوں نے ابو صالح سےاور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ جس نے اپنے آپ کو لوہے ( کے ہتھیار ) سے قتل کیا تو وہ ہتھیار اس کے ہاتھ میں ہو گا وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کےلیے جہنم کی آگ میں رہے گا ، اسے اپنے پیٹ میں گھونپتا رہے گا ۔ جس نے زہر پی کر خودکشی کی ، وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کےلیے جہنم کی آگ میں اسے گھونٹ گھونٹ پیتا رہے گا اورجس نے اپنے آپ کو کو پہاڑ سے گرا کر خود کشی کی ، وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کےلیے جہنم کی آگ میں پہاڑ سے گرتا رہے گا ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) observed: He who killed himself with steel (weapon) would be the eternal denizen of the Fire of Hell and he would have that weapon in his hand and would be thrusting that in his stomach for ever and ever, he who drank poison and killed himself would sip that in the Fire of Hell where he is doomed for ever and ever; and he who killed himself by falling from (the top of) a mountain would constantly fall in the Fire of Hell and would live there for ever and ever.
