حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ الطَّوَافَ الْأَوَّلَ، خَبَّ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا، وَكَانَ يَسْعَى بِبَطْنِ الْمَسِيلِ إِذَا طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ» وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ

Urdu Translation

  عبید اللہ نے نافع سے انھوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کی کہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بیت اللہ کا پہلا طواف کرتے تو تین چکر چھوٹے چھوٹے قدموں سے کندھے ہلا ہلا کر تیز چلتے ہو ئے لگاتے اورچا ر چکر چل کر لگا تے اور جب صفا مروہ کے چکر لگا تے تو وادی کی ترا ئی میں دوڑتے ۔ اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بھی ایسا ہی کیا کرتے تھے ۔

English Translation

Nafi' reported on the authority of Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that when Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) circumambulated the House, while observing the first circumambulation, he walked swiftly in three (circuits), and walked in four circuits, and ran in the bottom of the valley as he moved between al-Safa and al-Marwa. Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) also used to do like this.
