Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Masail

وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، قَبَّلَ الْحَجَرَ، وَقَالَ: «إِنِّي لَأُقَبِّلُكَ وَإِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ، وَلَكِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُكَ»

Urdu Translation

  نافع نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حجر اسود کو بوسہ دیا اورکہا : میں تجھے بوسہ دیتاہوں اور میں یہ بھی جانتاہوں کہ توایک پتھر ہے لیکن میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کودیکھاتھا وہ تجھے بوسہ دیتے تھے ۔ ( اس لئے میں بھی بوسہ دیتاہوں )

English Translation

Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Umar (Allah be pleased with him) kissed the Stone and said: I am kissing you, whereas I know that you are a stone, but I saw Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) kissing you (that Is why I kiss you).
