Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Masail

وحدثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَزَعَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعًا فَأَعْجَبْنَنِي وَآنَقْنَنِي، نَهَى أَنْ تُسَافِرَ الْمَرْأَةُ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمَيْنِ، إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا زَوْجُهَا، أَوْ ذُو مَحْرَمٍ وَاقْتَصَّ بَاقِيَ الْحَدِيثِ

Urdu Translation

  شعبہ نے ہمیں عبد الملک بن عمیر سے حدیث بیان کی ۔ کہا میں نے قزعہ سے سنا انھوں نے کہا میں نے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے چار باتیں سنیں جو مجھے بہت اچھی لگیں اور بہت پسند آئیں ۔ آپ نے منع فر ما یا کہ کو ئی عورت دو دن کا سفر کرے مگر اس طرح کہ اس کے ساتھ اس کا شو ہر یا کو ئی محرم ہو ۔ اور آگے باقی حدیث بیان کی ۔

English Translation

Abdullah b. Umar (Allah -be pleased with them) reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Hereafter to travel for more than three nights journey except when there is a Mahram with her.
