Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Masail

وحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ وَهُوَ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيٍّ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَابِتٍ، سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّهَا طَيْبَةُ - يَعْنِي - الْمَدِينَةَ، وَإِنَّهَا تَنْفِي الْخَبَثَ، كَمَا تَنْفِي النَّارُ خَبَثَ الْفِضَّةِ»

Urdu Translation

  حضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " بلا شبہ یہ طیبہ ( پاک ) ہے ، ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مراد مدینہ سے تھی ۔ یہ میل کچیل کو اس طرح دور کردیتا ہے جیسےآگ چاندی کے میل کچیل کو نکال دیتی ہے ۔ "

English Translation

Zaid b. Thabit reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: It is Taiba, thereby meaning Medina. It drives away impurity just as fire removes the impurity of silver.
