Baab Emaan Ka Bayan

وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: يَأْتِي الشَّيْطَانُ أَحَدَكُمْ فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاءَ؟ مَنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ؟ فَيَقُولُ: اللهُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَزَادَ، وَرُسُلِهِ

Urdu Translation

  ابو سعید مؤدب نے ہشام بن عروہ سے اسی سند کے ساتھ روایت کی کہ رسول ا للہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ تم میں سے کسی کے پاس شیطان آتا ہے او رکہتا ہے : آسمان کو کس نے پیدا کیا ؟ زمین کو کس نے پیدا کیا تو وہ ( جواب میں ) کہتا ہے اللہ نے ..... ‘ ‘ پھر اوپر والی روایت کی طرح بیان کی ’’اور اس کے رسولوں پر ( ایمان لایا ) ‘ ‘ کے الفاظ کا اضافہ کیا ۔

English Translation

This hadith has been transmitted by Mahmud b. Ghailan by another chain of transmitters (and the words are): The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: The Satan will come to everyone of you and say: Who created the heaven, who created the earth? (And the man) replies: It is Allah, Then the remaining part of the hadith was narrated as mentioned above and the words 'His prophets were added to it.
