حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَارِبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: «اشْتَرَى مِنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعِيرًا بِوُقِيَّتَيْنِ، وَدِرْهَمٍ أَوْ دِرْهَمَيْنِ»، قَالَ: «فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ صِرَارًا أَمَرَ بِبَقَرَةٍ، فَذُبِحَتْ فَأَكَلُوا مِنْهَا، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ آتِيَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَأُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَوَزَنَ لِي ثَمَنَ الْبَعِيرِ، فَأَرْجَحَ لِي

Urdu Translation

معاذ عنبری نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے محارب سے حدیث بیان کی کہ انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے دو اوقیہ اور ایک یا دو درہموں میں اونٹ خریدا ۔ جب آپ صرار ( کے مقام پر ) آئے تو آپ نے گائے ( ذبح کرنے ) کا حکم دیا ، وہ ذبح کی گئی ، لوگوں نے اسے کھایا ، جب آپ مدینہ تشریف لائے تو آپ نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں مسجد آؤں اور دو رکعتیں پڑھوں ۔ آپ نے میرے لیے اونٹ کی قیمت ( کے برابر سونے یا چاندی ) کا وزن کیا اور میرے لیے پلڑا جھکا دیا ۔ فائدہ : قیمت کے حوالے سے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے اس حدیث کے راوی محارب ( بن وثار ) کو وہم ہوا ہے جس طرح اگلی حدیث سے ثابت ہوتا ہے ، وہ اصل قیمت کو صحیح طور پر یاد نہیں رکھ سکے ۔ حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جب چاندی کے حساب سے اونٹ کی قیمت بتائی تو اس وقت چاندی کا ایک اوقیہ زائد دیے جانے کی بات کی ہے ۔ ( دیکھیے ، حدیث : 4103 ) چاندی کے اس اوقیے کو غلطی سے سونے کے ایک اوقیے کے ساتھ ملا کر دو اوقیے کر دیا گیا ہے ، ان احادیث میں قیمت یا سونے میں بیان کی گئی ہے یا اس کی قیمت کے برابر چاندی میں یا اسی کے برابر دیناروں میں ۔ بعض نے اضافے کو قیمت کے ساتھ شامل کر دیا ہے جس سے التباس پیدا ہوا ہے ۔ البتہ سب احادیث اصل مسئلہ میں ایک دوسرے کی تائید کرتی ہیں ۔

English Translation

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) bought a camel from me for two 'uqiyas and a dirham or two dirhams. As he reached Sirar (a village near Medina), he commanded a cow to be slaughtered and it was slaughtered, and they ate of that, and as he (the Holy Prophet) reached Medina he ordered me to go to the mosque and offer two rak'ahs of prayer, and he measured for me the price of the camel and even made an excess payment to me.
