حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وَقَالَ الْآخَرَانِ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَكَثْرَةَ الْحَلِفِ فِي الْبَيْعِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُنَفِّقُ، ثُمَّ يَمْحَقُ»

Urdu Translation

  حضرت ابوقتادہ انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : " بیع میں زیادہ قسمیں کھانے سے بچو کیونکہ وہ ( پہلے بیع کو ) فروغ دیتی ہے ، پھر ( نفع کو ) مٹا دیتی ہے ۔ "

English Translation

Abu Qatada al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with him) reported he heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) say: Beware of swearing; it produces a ready sale for a commodity, but blots out the blessing.
