حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «مَا غِرْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ، مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ لِكَثْرَةِ ذِكْرِهِ إِيَّاهَا وَمَا رَأَيْتُهَا قَطُّ»

Urdu Translation

  زہری نے عروہ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، کہا : مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لئے ، آپ کی کسی بیوی پر ایسا رشک نہیں ہوا جیسا حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا پر ہوا ۔ اس کا سبب یہ تھا کہ آپ ان کو بہت کثرت سے یاد کرتے تھے ، حالانکہ میں نے انھیں کبھی دیکھا تک نہ تھا ۔

English Translation

A'isha reported: Never did I feel jealous of any wife amongst the wives of Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as I feel in case of Khadija (though I had never seen her), for he praised her very often.
