حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، وَابْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «ائْذَنُوا لِلنِّسَاءِ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ» فَقَالَ ابْنٌ لَهُ: يُقَالُ لَهُ وَاقِدٌ: إِذَنْ يَتَّخِذْنَهُ دَغَلًا. قَالَ: فَضَرَبَ فِي صَدْرِهِ وَقَالَ: أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَتَقُولُ: لَا

Urdu Translation

  ( اعمش کے بجائے ) عمرو ( بن دینار جحمی ) نے مجاہد سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’عورتوں کو رات کے وقت مسجدوں کی طرف نکلنے کی اجازت دو ۔ ‘ ‘ تو ان کے بیٹے نے ، جس کو واقد کہا جاتا تھا ، کہا : تب وہ اس کو خرابی و بگاڑ بنا لیں گی ۔ ( مجاہد نے ) کہا : ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس کے سینے پر مارا اور کہا : میں تمہیں رسول اللہﷺ سے حدیث سنا رہا ہوں اور تو کہتا ہے : نہیں!

English Translation

Ibn 'Umar reported: Grant permission to women for going to the mosque in the night. His son who was called Waqid said: Then they would make mischief. He (the narrator) said: He thumped his (son's) chest and said: I am narrating to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), and you say: No!
