Sunan Abu Dawood 1139

This tradition has also been narrated by Umm Atiyyah though a different chain of transmitters. She said: We were commanded to go out (for offering the Eid prayer). She further said: The menstruating women stood behind the people and they uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) along with the people.

حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ بِهَذَا الْخَبَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ وَالْحُيَّضُ يَكُنَّ خَلْفَ النَّاسِ فَيُكَبِّرْنَ مَعَ النَّاسِ.

اس طریق سے بھی ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے   اس میں ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں حکم دیا جاتا تھا، پھر یہی حدیث بیان کی، پھر آگے اس میں ہے کہ: انہوں نے بتایا: حائضہ عورتیں لوگوں کے پیچھے ہوتی تھیں اور لوگوں کے ساتھ تکبیریں کہتی تھیں ۱؎۔
