حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْغُدَانِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِرَجُلٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَبُو أُمَامَةَ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا أُمَامَةَ، مَا لِي أَرَاكَ جَالِسًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فِي غَيْرِ وَقْتِ الصَّلَاةِ ؟ قَالَ: هُمُومٌ لَزِمَتْنِي وَدُيُونٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: أَفَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلَامًا إِذَا أَنْتَ قُلْتَهُ أَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هَمَّكَ، وَقَضَى عَنْكَ دَيْنَكَ ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قُلْ إِذَا أَصْبَحْتَ وَإِذَا أَمْسَيْتَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ . قَالَ: فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هَمِّي، وَقَضَى عَنِّي دَيْنِي.
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک دن مسجد میں داخل ہوئے تو اچانک آپ کی نظر ایک انصاری پر پڑی جنہیں ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہا جاتا تھا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے کہا: ابوامامہ! کیا وجہ ہے کہ میں تمہیں نماز کے وقت کے علاوہ بھی مسجد میں بیٹھا دیکھ رہا ہوں؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! غموں اور قرضوں نے مجھے گھیر لیا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا میں تمہیں ایسے کلمات نہ سکھاؤں کہ جب تم انہیں کہو تو اللہ تم سے تمہارے غم غلط اور قرض ادا کر دے ، میں نے کہا: ضرور، اللہ کے رسول! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: صبح و شام یہ کہا کرو: «اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن، وأعوذ بك من العجز والكسل، وأعوذ بك من الجبن والبخل، وأعوذ بك من غلبة الدين وقهر الرجال» اے اللہ! میں غم اور حزن سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، عاجزی و سستی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، بزدلی اور کنجوسی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں اور قرض کے غلبہ اور لوگوں کے تسلط سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں ۔ ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے یہ پڑھنا شروع کیا تو اللہ نے میرا غم دور کر دیا اور میرا قرض ادا کروا دیا۔
Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: One day the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered the mosque. He saw there a man from the Ansar called Abu Umamah. He said: What is the matter that I am seeing you sitting in the mosque when there is no time of prayer? He said: I am entangled in cares and debts, Messenger of Allah. He replied: Shall I not teach you words by which, when you say them, Allah will remove your care, and settle your debt? He said: Why not, Messenger of Allah? He said: Say in the morning and evening: O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from care and grief, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity and slackness, I seek refuge in Thee from cowardice and niggardliness, and I seek in Thee from being overcome by debt and being put in subjection by men. He said: When I did that Allah removed my care and settled my debt.
