حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ خَيْرَ الصَّدَقَةِ مَا تَرَكَ غِنًى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بہترین صدقہ وہ ہے جو آدمی کو مالدار باقی رکھے یا ( یوں فرمایا ) وہ صدقہ ہے جسے دینے کے بعد مالک مالدار رہے اور صدقہ پہلے اسے دو جس کی تم کفالت کرتے ہو ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying The best sadaqah is that which leaves a competence ; and begin with those for whom you are responsible.
