Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was asked which of the creatures a pilgrim in sacred state could kill. He replied: The snake, the scorpion, the rat; he should drive away the pied crow, but should not kill it; the biting dog, the kite, and any wild animal which attacks (man).

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي نُعْمٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَمَّا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفُوَيْسِقَةُ وَيَرْمِي الْغُرَابَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُهُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالسَّبُعُ الْعَادِي .

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا: محرم کون کون سا جانور مار سکتا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: سانپ، بچھو، چوہیا کو ( مار سکتا ہے ) اور کوے کو بھگا دے، اسے مارے نہیں، اور کاٹ کھانے والے کتے، چیل اور حملہ کرنے والے درندے کو ( مار سکتا ہے ) ۔
