Sunan Abu Dawood 209 - Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَدِيثٍ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ لِلْمِقْدَادِ:‏‏‏‏ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَاهُ الْمُفَضَّلُ بن فضالة وجماعة، ‏‏‏‏‏‏والثوري، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وابن عيينة، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمِقْدَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَمْ يَذْكُرْ:‏‏‏‏ أُنْثَيَيْهِ.

Urdu Translation

علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا، پھر راوی نے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث ذکر کی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اور اسے مفضل بن فضالہ، ایک جماعت، ثوری اور ابن عیینہ نے ہشام سے، ہشام نے اپنے والد عروہ سے، عروہ نے علی بن ابی طالب سے روایت کیا ہے، نیز اسے ابن اسحاق نے ہشام بن عروہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد عروہ سے، عروہ نے مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور مقداد نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے، مگر اس میں لفظ «أنثييه» دونوں فوطوں کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔

English Translation

Urwah reported on the Authority of his father a tradition from Ali bin Abi Talib who said: I Asked al-Miqdad (to consult the prophet). He then narrated the tradition bearing the same meaning. Abu Dawud said; this tradition has been reported with another chain of narrators. This version does not mention the word “testicles”.
