Sunan Abu Dawood 2641 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَأَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلُوا قِبْلَتَنَا وَأَنْ يَأْكُلُوا ذَبِيحَتَنَا وَأَنْ يُصَلُّوا صَلَاتَنَا فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ حَرُمَتْ عَلَيْنَا دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا لَهُمْ مَا لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَعَلَيْهِمْ مَا عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ .

Urdu Translation

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک قتال کروں جب تک کہ وہ «لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله» نہیں ہے کوئی معبود برحق سوائے اللہ کے اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں کی گواہی دینے، ہمارے قبلہ کا استقبال کرنے، ہمارا ذبیحہ کھانے، اور ہماری نماز کی طرح نماز پڑھنے نہ لگ جائیں، تو جب وہ ایسا کرنے لگیں تو ان کے خون اور مال ہمارے اوپر حرام ہو گئے سوائے اس کے حق کے ساتھ اور ان کے وہ سارے حقوق ہوں گے جو مسلمانوں کے ہیں اور ان پر وہ سارے حقوق عائد ہوں گے جو مسلمانوں پر ہوتے ہیں ۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: I am commanded to fight with men till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, face our qiblah (direction of prayer), eat what we slaughter, and pray like us. When they do that, their life and property are unlawful for us except what is due to them. They will have the same rights as the Muslims have, and have the same responsibilities as the Muslims have.
