حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أَيُّوبَ يَعْنِي الْإِفْرِيقِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَاصِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعْبَدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ يَمِينَهُ لِطَعَامِهِ وَشَرَابِهِ وَثِيَابِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَجْعَلُ شِمَالَهُ لِمَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ .

Urdu Translation

حارثہ بن وہب خزاعی کہتے ہیں کہ ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھ سے بیان کیا ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے دائیں ہاتھ کو کھانے، پینے اور کپڑا پہننے کے لیے استعمال کرتے تھے، اور اپنے بائیں ہاتھ کو ان کے علاوہ دوسرے کاموں کے لیے۔

English Translation

Narrated Hafsah, Ummul Muminin: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used his right hand for taking his food and drink and used his left hand for other purposes.
