حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ عَبْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏في آخرين وهذا لفظ ابن عبدة، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ فَصَلَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ عَبْدَةَ:‏‏‏‏ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَمُحَمَّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَرْحَمْ مَعَنَا أَحَدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَقَدْ تَحَجَّرْتَ وَاسِعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ لَمْ يَلْبَثْ أَنْ بَالَ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَسْرَعَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنَهَاهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُمْ مُيَسِّرِينَ وَلَمْ تُبْعَثُوا مُعَسِّرِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏صُبُّوا عَلَيْهِ سَجْلًا مِنْ مَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ذَنُوبًا مِنْ مَاءٍ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک اعرابی مسجد میں آیا، اس وقت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، اس نے نماز پڑھی ( ابن عبدہ نے اپنی روایت میں کہا: اس نے دو رکعت نماز پڑھی ) ، پھر کہا: اے اللہ! مجھ پر اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر رحم کر اور ہمارے ساتھ کسی اور پر رحم نہ کرنا ، اس پر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم نے اللہ کی وسیع رحمت کو تنگ اور محدود کر دیا ، پھر زیادہ دیر نہیں ہوئی تھی کہ مسجد کے ایک کونے میں وہ پیشاب کرنے لگا تو لوگ اس کی طرف دوڑے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں اعرابی کو ڈانٹنے سے منع کیا اور فرمایا: تم لوگ لوگوں پر آسانی کرنے کے لیے بھیجے گئے ہو، سختی کرنے کے لیے نہیں، اس پر ایک ڈول پانی ڈال دو ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported: A bedouin entered themosque while the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was sitting. He offered two rak'ahs of prayer, according to the version of Ibn Abdah. He then said: O Allah, have mercy on me and on Muhammad and do not have mercy on anyone along with us. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: You have narrowed down (a thing) that was broader. After a short while he passed a water in the corner of the mosque. The people rushed towards him. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prevented them and said: You have been sent to facilitate and not create difficulties. Pour a bucket of water upon it.
