Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When I parted the hair of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم I made a parting from the crow of his head and let his forelock hang between his eyes.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ إِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَفْرُقَ رَأْسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَعْتُ الْفَرْقَ مِنْ يَافُوخِهِ وَأُرْسِلُ نَاصِيَتَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   جب میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سر میں مانگ نکالنی چاہتی تو سر کے بیچ سے نکالتی، اور پیشانی کے بالوں کو دونوں آنکھوں کے بیچ کی سیدھ سے آدھا ایک طرف اور آدھا دوسری طرف لٹکا دیا کرتی تھی۔
