This tradition has been reported by Umar bin al-Khattab through a different chain of narrators. He narrated it to the same effect and that is more correct.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِمَعْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ.
