حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ فِي قَوْلِهِ:‏‏‏‏ خُذِ الْعَفْوَ سورة الأعراف آية 199، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الْعَفْوَ مِنْ أَخْلَاقِ النَّاسِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما سے   اللہ کے فرمان «خذ العفو» عفو کو اختیار کرو کی تفسیر کے سلسلے میں روایت ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں: نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو حکم دیا گیا کہ وہ لوگوں کے اخلاق میں سے عفو کو اختیار کریں۔

English Translation

Explaining the Quranic verse “hold to forgiveness”, Abdullah bin Al-Zubair said: The prophet of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was commanded to hold to forgiveness from the conduct of the people.
