حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلْقَى عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ التَّأْذِينَ هُوَ بِنَفْسِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ ارْجِعْ فَمُدَّ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ .

Urdu Translation

ابو محذورہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بذات خود مجھے اذان کے کلمات سکھائے اور فرمایا: کہو: «الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله» دو دو بار ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: پھر دہراؤ اور اپنی آواز کھینچ کر یوں کہو: «أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله حى على الصلاة حى على الصلاة حى على الفلاح حى على الفلاح الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله» ۔

English Translation

Abu Mahdurah reported: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم himself taught me the call to prayer (adhan). He asked me to pronounce: Allah is most great. Allah is most great. Allah is most great. Allah is most great: I testify that there is no god but Allah. I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is Messenger of Allah. Then repeat and raise your voice; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah ; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; come to prayer, come to prayer; come to salvation, come to salvation; Allah is most great. Allah is most great; there is no god but Allah.
