حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَابِقِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ حِمْصَ فَمَرَّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا خَدَمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدِّثْنِي بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَتَدَاوَلْهُ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ الرِّجَالُ،‏‏‏‏ قال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ وَإِذَا أَمْسَى:‏‏‏‏ رَضِينَا بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ .

Urdu Translation

ابو سلام کہتے ہیں کہ   وہ حمص کی مسجد میں تھے کہ ایک شخص کا وہاں سے گزر ہوا، لوگوں نے کہا، یہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خادم رہے ہیں، راوی کہتے ہیں: تو ابو سلام اٹھ کر ان کے پاس گئے، اور ان سے عرض کیا کہ آپ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہوئی کوئی ایسی حدیث ہم سے بیان فرمائیے، جس میں آپ کے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے درمیان کسی اور شخص کا واسطہ نہ ہو، تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: جس نے جب صبح کے وقت اور شام کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھی «رضينا بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد رسولا» ہم اللہ کے رب ہونے، اسلام کے دین ہونے اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے رسول ہونے سے راضی و خوش ہیں تو اللہ پر اس کا یہ حق بن گیا کہ وہ بھی اس سے راضی و خوش ہو جائے۔

English Translation

Narrated A man: Abu Sallam told that he was in the mosque of Hims. A man passed him and the people said about him that he served the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He (Abu Sallam) went to him and said: Tell me any tradition which you heard from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and there were no man between him and you. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: If anyone says in the morning and in the evening: I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, with Muhammad as Prophet, Allah will certainly please him.
