حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي لُبابةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الْجِنَّانِ الَّتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالْأَبْتَرَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَخْطِفَانِ الْبَصَرَ وَيَطْرَحَانِ مَا فِي بُطُونِ النِّسَاءِ .

Urdu Translation

ابولبابہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سانپوں کو مارنے سے روکا ہے جو گھروں میں ہوتے ہیں مگر یہ کہ دو منہ والا ہو، یا دم کٹا ہو ( یہ دونوں بہت خطرناک ہیں ) کیونکہ یہ دونوں نگاہ کو اچک لیتے ہیں اور عورتوں کے پیٹ میں جو ( بچہ ) ہوتا ہے اسے گرا دیتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Lubabah said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prohibited killing the jinnan (small snakes) that are in the house, except the one which have two streaks and the one with small tail, for they obliterate the eyesight and cause miscarriage.
