Sunan Abu Dawood Hadith No. 665

Chapter 2 Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

باب نماز کے احکام و مسائل

Narrated An-Numan ibn Bashir: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to straighten our rows when we stood up to pray, and when we were straight, he said: Allah is most great (takbir).

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُالنُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَوِّي صُفُوفَنَا إِذَا قُمْنَا لِلصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا اسْتَوَيْنَا كَبَّرَ .

نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   جب ہم نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہماری صفیں درست فرماتے، پھر جب ہم لوگ سیدھے ہو جاتے تو آپ «الله أكبر» کہتے۔
