Narrated Al-Fadl ibn Abbas: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came to us accompanied by Abbas when we were in open country belonging to us. He prayed in a desert with no sutrah in front of him, and a she-ass and a bitch of ours were playing in front of him, but he paid no attention to that.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَنَا وَمَعَهُ عَبَّاسٌ فَصَلَّى فِي صَحْرَاءَ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ سُتْرَةٌ وَحِمَارَةٌ لَنَا وَكَلْبَةٌ تَعْبَثَانِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَا بَالَى ذَلِكَ .

فضل بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم ایک صحرا میں تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے، آپ کے ساتھ عباس رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صحرا ( کھلی جگہ ) میں نماز پڑھی، اس حال میں کہ آپ کے سامنے سترہ نہ تھا، اور ہماری گدھی اور کتیا دونوں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے کھیل رہی تھیں، لیکن آپ نے اس کی کچھ پرواہ نہ کی۔
