Narrated Wail ibn Hujr: I saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم raising his thumbs in prayer up to the lobes of his ears.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ فِطْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ إِبْهَامَيْهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ .

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ نماز میں اپنے دونوں انگوٹھے اپنے دونوں کانوں کی لو تک اٹھاتے۔
