حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ وَقَعَتَا رُكْبَتَاهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقَعَ كَفَّاهُ . قَالَ هَمَّامٌ:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدَّثَنِي شَقِيقٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِمِثْلِ هَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَحَدِهِمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَكْبَرُ عِلْمِي أَنَّهُ فِي حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَإِذَا نَهَضَ نَهَضَ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَاعْتَمَدَ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ .

Urdu Translation

اس سند سے وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز کی کیفیت مروی ہے، اس میں ہے کہ   جب آپ سجدہ کرتے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھٹنے ہتھیلیوں سے پہلے زمین پر پڑتے۔ ہمام کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے شقیق نے بیان کیا ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے عاصم بن کلیب نے اور عاصم نے اپنے والد سے کلیب نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی کے مثل روایت کیا ہے اور ان دونوں میں سے کسی کی حدیث میں اور میرا غالب گمان یہی ہے کہ محمد بن جحادہ کی حدیث میں یہ ہے: جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اٹھتے تو اپنی ران پر ٹیک لگا کر اپنے دونوں گھٹنوں کے بل اٹھتے ۔

English Translation

The above-mentioned tradition has also been transmitted by Wail bin Hujr through a different chain of narrators. This version has: When he prostrated himself, his knees fell on the ground before his hands had fallen. Hemmam said: This tradition has also been transmitted by Asim bin Kulaib through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. And one of these two versions, and probably the version narrated by Muhammad bin Juhadah, has the words: When he stood up (after prostration), he stood up on his knees taking the support of his thighs.
