أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ تَوْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَصُومُ مِنَ السَّنَةِ شَهْرًا تَامًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا شَعْبَانَ وَيَصِلُ بِهِ رَمَضَانَ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سال کے کسی بھی مہینہ میں پورا روزہ نہیں رکھتے تھے سوائے شعبان کے، آپ اسے رمضان سے ملا دیتے تھے۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Umm Salamah: That the Prophet would not fast any month of the year in full except Shaban and he used to join it to Ramadan.
