Baab Zakat O Sadqat Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ يَضْمَنْ لِي وَاحِدَةً وَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى:‏‏‏‏ هَاهُنَا كَلِمَةٌ مَعْنَاهَا أَنْ لَا يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا .

Urdu Translation

ثوبان رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص مجھے ایک بات کی ضمانت دے تو اس کے لیے جنت ہے“ ( یحییٰ کہتے ہیں: یہاں ایک لفظ تھا جس کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ ) ”وہ لوگوں سے کچھ نہ مانگے“۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Thawban said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever can promise me one thing. Paradise will be his. (One of the narrators) Yahya said: Here a statement which means: That he will not ask the people for anything.
