Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Manasik

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَامَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَاذَا تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَلْبَسَ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ فِي الْإِحْرَامِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَلْبَسُوا الْقُمُصَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَاتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا الْخِفَافَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ رَجُلٌ لَهُ نَعْلَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيَلْبَسْ الْخُفَّيْنِ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَلْبَسْ شَيْئًا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ مَسَّهُ الزَّعْفَرَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا الْوَرْسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَنْتَقِبُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْحَرَامُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَلْبَسُ الْقُفَّازَيْنِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک شخص کھڑا ہوا اور اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! احرام میں آپ ہمیں کون سے کپڑے پہننے کا حکم دیتے ہیں؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نہ قمیص پہنو، نہ پائجامے، نہ موزے، البتہ اگر کسی کے پاس جوتے نہ ہوں تو وہ ایسے موزے پہن لے جو ٹخنوں سے نیچے سے ہوں اور کوئی ایسا کپڑا نہ پہنے جس میں زعفران یا ورس لگا ہو، اور محرمہ عورت نہ نقاب پہنے، اور نہ دستانے“۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that a man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah! What garments do you command us to wear in Ihram? The Messenger of Allah said; Do not wear shirts, or pants, or Khuffs unless a man does not have any sandals, in which case he may wear Khuffs that come lower than the ankles. And do not wear any garment that has been touched by (dyed with) saffron or Wars. And a woman in Ihram should not cover her face or wear gloves.
