أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى هُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَهَلْ كَانَ طَلَاقًا ؟ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم ( ازواج مطہرات ) کو اختیار دیا تو ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہی کو چن لیا، تو کیا یہ طلاق ہوئی؟ ( نہیں، یہ طلاق نہیں ہوئی ) ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah gave us the choice and we chose him; was that a divorce?
