أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا قَامَ قُمْنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَامَ يَوْمًا وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى لَمَّا بَلَغَ وَسَطَ الْمَسْجِدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَدْرَكَهُ رَجُلٌ،‏‏‏‏ فَجَبَذَ بِرِدَائِهِ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَكَانَ رِدَاؤُهُ خَشِنًا،‏‏‏‏ فَحَمَّرَ رَقَبَتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا مُحَمَّدُ احْمِلْ لِي عَلَى بَعِيرَيَّ هَذَيْنِ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّكَ لَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ مَالِكَ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا مِنْ مَالِ أَبِيكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ،‏‏‏‏ لَا أَحْمِلُ لَكَ حَتَّى تُقِيدَنِي مِمَّا جَبَذْتَ بِرَقَبَتِي ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ لَا،‏‏‏‏ وَاللَّهِ لَا أُقِيدُكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا وَاللَّهِ لَا أُقِيدُكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا سَمِعْنَا قَوْلَ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ أَقْبَلْنَا إِلَيْهِ سِرَاعًا،‏‏‏‏ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عَزَمْتُ عَلَى مَنْ سَمِعَ كَلَامِي أَنْ لَا يَبْرَحَ مَقَامَهُ حَتَّى آذَنَ لَهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ:‏‏‏‏ يَا فُلَانُ،‏‏‏‏ احْمِلْ لَهُ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ شَعِيرًا،‏‏‏‏ وَعَلَى بَعِيرٍ تَمْرًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ انْصَرِفُوا .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مسجد میں بیٹھا کرتے تھے، جب آپ کھڑے ہوتے، ہم کھڑے ہو جاتے، ایک دن آپ کھڑے ہوئے تو ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ کھڑے ہوئے یہاں تک کہ جب آپ مسجد کے بیچوں بیچ پہنچے تو ایک شخص نے آپ کو پکڑا اور پیچھے سے آپ کی چادر پکڑ کر کھینچے لگا، وہ چادر بہت کھردری تھی، آپ کی گردن سرخ ہو گئی، وہ بولا: ”اے محمد! میرے لیے میرے ان دو اونٹوں کو لاد دیجئیے، آپ کوئی اپنے مال سے تو کسی کو دیتے نہیں اور نہ اپنے باپ کے مال سے“، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نہیں، میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے مغفرت طلب کرتا ہوں، میں تجھے نہیں دوں گا جب تک تو میری اس گردن کھینچنے کا بدلہ نہیں دے گا“، اعرابی نے کہا: نہیں، اللہ کی قسم، میں بدلہ نہیں دوں گا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ تین بار فرمایا، ہر مرتبہ اس نے کہا: نہیں، اللہ کی قسم میں بدلہ نہیں دوں گا، جب ہم نے اعرابی کی بات سنی تو ہم دوڑ کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، آپ ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”میں قسم دیتا ہوں، تم میں سے جو میری بات سنے اپنی جگہ سے نہ ہٹے، یہاں تک کہ میں اسے اجازت دے دوں“، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قوم کے ایک آدمی سے کہا: ”اے فلاں! اس کے ایک اونٹ پر جَو لاد دو اور ایک اونٹ پر کھجور“، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم لوگ جا سکتے ہو“۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: We would sit with the Messenger of Allah in the Masjid and when he stood up, we would stand up too, Only day he stood up and we stood up with him, and when he reached the middle of the Masjid, a man caught up with him and pulled roughly on his Rida' (upper-warp) from behind. His Rida 'was of rough material, and that left a red mark on his neck. He said: 'O Muhammad! Load up these two camels of mine, for you are not giving me anything from your wealth or the wealth of your father!' The Messenger of Allah said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: 'No, and I pray for Allah's forgiveness. I will not load anything (onto your camels) untily you let me retaliate for your pulling roughly (on my cloak and leaving a mark on) my neck.' The Bedouin said: 'No, by Allah, I will not let you retaliate., The Messenger of Allah said that three times, and each time the man said: 'No, by Allah, I will not let you retaliate., When we heard what the Bedouin said, we turned toward him quickly. The Messenger of Allah turned to us and said; 'I urge anyone who hears me not to leave his place until give him permission. Then the Messenger of Allah said: 'O so and so, load one of his camels with barley and the other with dates.' Then the Messenger of Allah said: 'Leave, '
