أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ مِنْ وَلَدِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْجُمَحِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْخٍ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ سَالِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ لِأُمِّ الْبَنِينَ مَعَهُمْ أَجْرَاسٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَحَدَّثَ نَافِعًا سَالِمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رَكْبًا مَعَهُمْ جُلْجُلٌ،‏‏‏‏ كَمْ تَرَى مَعَ هَؤُلَاءٍ مِنَ الْجُلْجُلِ .

Urdu Translation

ابوبکر بن ابی شیخ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں سالم کے ساتھ بیٹھا ہو تھا۔ اتنے میں ام البنین کا ایک قافلہ ہمارے پاس سے گزرا ان کے ساتھ کچھ گھنٹیاں تھیں، تو نافع سے سالم نے کہا کہ ان کے والد عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے روایت کی کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”فرشتے ایسے قافلوں کے ساتھ نہیں ہوتے جن کے ساتھ گھنگھرو یا گھنٹے ہوں، ان کے ساتھ تو بہت سارے گھنٹے دکھائی دے رہے ہیں“۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaikh said: I was sitting with Salim when a caravan belonging to Umm Al-Banin passed by us, and they had bells with them. Salim narrated to Nafi' from his father, that the Prophet [SAW] said: 'The angels do not accompany a caravan that has small bells with them.' How often do you see small bells with these people.
