حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَوَجَدَ ثَلَاثَةً وَقَدْ سَبَقُوهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَابِعُ أَرْبَعَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا رَابِعُ أَرْبَعَةٍ بِبَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَجْلِسُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى قَدْرِ رَوَاحِهِمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَاتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏الْأَوَّلَ وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَابِعُ أَرْبَعَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا رَابِعُ أَرْبَعَةٍ بِبَعِيدٍ .

Urdu Translation

علقمہ بن قیس کہتے ہیں کہ   میں عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ جمعہ کے لیے نکلا، انہوں نے تین آدمیوں کو دیکھا جو ان سے آگے بڑھ گئے تھے، تو کہا: میں چار میں سے چوتھا ہوں اور چار میں سے چوتھا کچھ دور نہیں ہے، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ لوگ قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس اسی ترتیب سے بیٹھیں گے جس ترتیب سے جمعہ کے لیے پہلے اور بعد میں جاتے رہتے ہیں، جمعہ کے لیے پہلے جانے والا وہاں بھی پہلے درجہ میں دوسرا دوسرے درجہ میں اور تیسرا تیسرے درجہ میں پھر کہا: چار میں سے چوتھا اور چار میں سے چوتھا کچھ دور نہیں ہے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that ‘Alqamah said: “I went out with ‘Abdullah to Friday (prayer), and he found three men who arrived before him. He said: ‘The fourth of four, and the fourth of four is not far away. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “On the Day of Resurrection people will gather near Allah according to how early they came to Friday (prayer), the first, second, and third.’” Then he said: ‘The fourth of four, and the fourth of four is not far away.’”
