It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no lifelong grant. Whoever is given something as a lifelong grant, it is his.' ”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا عُمْرَى فَمَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عمریٰ کوئی چیز نہیں ہے، جس کو عمریٰ کے طور پر کوئی چیز دی گئی تو وہ اسی کی ملک ہو جائے گی ۔
