حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرَ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُأَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أُلْجِمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ .

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جس شخص سے دین کے کسی مسئلہ کے متعلق پوچھا گیا، اور باوجود علم کے اس نے اسے چھپایا، تو قیامت کے دن اسے آگ کی لگام پہنائی جائے گی ۔

English Translation

Yusuf bin Ibrahim said: 'I heard Anas bin Malik say: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it, it will be bridled on the Day of Resurrection with reins of fire.'
