حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِ الصُّرَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالضِّفْدَعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالنَّمْلَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْهُدْهُدِ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لٹورا ( ایک چھوٹا سا پرندہ ) ، مینڈک، چیونٹی اور ہُد ہُد کو قتل کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade killing shrikes*, frogs, ants and hoopoes.”
