حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ جَمِيعًا،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ رَاشِدٍ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحِمَّانِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَشْرَبْ الْخَمْرَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهَا مِفْتَاحُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ .

Urdu Translation

ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میرے خلیل ( جگری دوست ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے وصیت فرمائی: شراب مت پیو، اس لیے کہ یہ تمام برائیوں کی کنجی ہے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Darda’ said: ‘My close friend (ﷺ) advised me: ‘Do not drink wine, for it is the key to all evils.’”
