حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيِ الذُّبَابِ سُمٌّ،‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي الطَّعَامِ فَامْقُلُوهُ فِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ السُّمَّ،‏‏‏‏ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الشِّفَاءَ .

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مکھی کے ایک پر میں زہر اور دوسرے میں شفاء ہے، اگر وہ کھانے میں گر جائے تو اسے اس میں پوری طرح ڈبو دو، اس لیے کہ وہ زہر والا پر آگے رکھتی ہے ( اور وہی کھانے میں ڈالتی ہے ) اور شفاء والا پیچھے رکھتی ہے ۔

English Translation

Abu Sa’eed narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “On one of the wings of a fly there is a poison and on the other is the cure. If it falls into the food, then dip it into it, for it puts the poison first and holds back the cure.”
