Baab Ayaam Fitn Ke Ehkaam Aur Ummat May Waqay Hone Wale Fitno Ki Paishan Goyian

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْغَازِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَدِّهِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ أَذَاخِرَ،‏‏‏‏ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ وَعَلَيَّ رَيْطَةٌ مُضَرَّجَةٌ بِالْعُصْفُرِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا هَذِهِ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ فَعَرَفْتُ مَا كَرِهَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَتَيْتُ أَهْلِي وَهُمْ يَسْجُرُونَ تَنُّورَهُمْ فَقَذَفْتُهَا فِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ مَا فَعَلَتِ الرَّيْطَةُ ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا كَسَوْتَهَا بَعْضَ أَهْلِكَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ لِلنِّسَاءِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم اذاخر ۱؎ کے موڑ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ آئے، آپ میری طرف متوجہ ہوئے، میں باریک چادر پہنے ہوئے تھا جو کسم کے رنگ میں رنگی ہوئی تھی، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: یہ کیا ہے ؟ میں آپ کی اس ناگواری کو بھانپ گیا، چنانچہ میں اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس آیا، وہ اس وقت اپنا تنور گرم کر رہے تھے، میں نے اسے اس میں ڈال دیا، دوسری صبح میں آپ کے پاس آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عبداللہ! چادر کیا ہوئی ؟ میں نے آپ کو ساری بات بتائی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم نے اپنی کسی گھر والی کو کیوں نہیں پہنا دی؟ اس لیے کہ اسے پہننے میں عورتوں کے لیے کوئی مضائقہ نہیں ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, that his grandfather said: “We came with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was Thaniyyat Adhakhir. He turned to me, and I was wearing a thin cloak dyed with safflower, and said: ‘What is this?’ And I realized that he disliked it. I came to my family when they were heating their oven and threw it (in the oven). Then I came to him the following day and he said: ‘O ‘Abdullah, what happened to the thin cloak?’ I told him (what I had done) and he said: ‘Why did you not give it to some of your family to wear, for there is nothing wrong with it for women.’”
