It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every religion has its distinct characteristic, and the distinct characteristic of Islam is modesty.”

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقِّيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ دِينٍ خُلُقًا،‏‏‏‏ وَخُلُقُ الْإِسْلَامِ الْحَيَاءُ .

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہر دین کا ایک اخلاق ہوتا ہے اور اسلام کا اخلاق حیاء ہے ۔
