Baab Jannat Ka Wasf Aur Is Ki Naimaton Ka Tazkira

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أُقَيْشٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ لَيْلَتَئِذٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَتِهِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ مُضَرَ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَعْظُمُ لِلنَّارِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَحَدَ زَوَايَاهَا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن قیس کہتے ہیں کہ   میں ایک رات ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس تھا، تو ہمارے پاس حارث بن اقیش رضی اللہ عنہ آئے، اس رات حارث نے ہم سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میری امت میں ایسا شخص بھی ہو گا جس کی شفاعت سے مضر قبیلے سے زیادہ لوگ جنت میں جائیں گے، اور میری امت میں سے ایسا شخص ہو گا جو جہنم کے لیے اتنا بڑا ہو جائے گا کہ وہ جہنم کا ایک کونہ ہو جائے گا ۔

English Translation

‘Abdullah bin Qais said: “I was with Abu Burdah one night, and Harith bin Uqaish entered upon us. Harith told us that night that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Among my nation are some by whose intercession more (than the members of the tribe of) Mudar will enter Paradise, and among my nation are some who will be made huge for the Fire until they fill one of its corners.’”
