حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ سَيَّارِ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ الْعِشَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَهَا وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا .

Urdu Translation

ابوبرزہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء دیر سے پڑھنا پسند فرماتے تھے، اور اس سے پہلے سونے اور اس کے بعد بات چیت کرنے کو ناپسند کرتے تھے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Barzah Al-Aslami said: The Messenger of Allah used to like to delay the 'Isha', and he disliked sleeping before it, and engaging in conversation after it.
