It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to raise his hands at every Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar).

حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ رِيَاحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر تکبیر کے وقت اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو اٹھاتے تھے۔
