حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ .

Urdu Translation

ابومسعود (عقبہ بن عمرو بن ثعلبہ انصاری) رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ نماز درست نہیں ہوتی ہے جس کے رکوع و سجود میں آدمی اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی نہ رکھے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Mas’ud said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘No prayer is acceptable in which a man does not settle his spine when bowing and when prostrating.’”
