INGREDIENTS

Basin/gram flour 2 cups

Baking soda 2 pinches

Salt 1/2 tbsp

Asafetida 1 pinch

Oil for deep frying 300 gms

Yoghurt 1 tbsp. salt

Sugar 1 tbsp

Chaat masala

Cumin powder

Red chili powder

Tamarind chutney

METHOD

Besan Ke Dahi Bade are widely used in Iftar, you can get energy by having Besan Ke Dahi Bade because it has Yogurt, you can change the taste as per your requirement by adding Dahi Bade Masala.

1- Add spices to basin and make a paste using 1&1/4 cup of water.
2- Mix well and leave for 30 minutes.
3- Pour oil in a frying pan with a spoon, drop the spoon full of paste into the pan and deep fry till light brown.
4- At the time of serving, soak them into bowl of water. Squeeze out the water when a little soft between palms and add to prepared yoghurt.

prepare yoghurt:

1- Add small quantity of water to beat the yogurt to make a paste.
2- Add salt, red chili powder and half tbsp of cumin powder.
3- Add 1 tbsp of sugar and mix it well.
4- Garnish with sweet tamarind chutney and chaat masala.
